I started playing Dead Space 2 at 9:00 PM with the lights off, and the surround sound turned way up. It's scary, it's fun, it's action packed - it's awesome. Don't be surprised if you end up going through the campaign again to see things you missed.ĭespite a few flaws, Dead Space 2 is clearly the new standard in survival horror.
The Multiplayer is great, and leveling up takes some time and dedication. There are a few quirks, but you're bound to have fun.
To quote Spinal Tap, everything here is turned up to 11 for the sequel. It's like Dead Space, but with a few really cool quirks and effects thrown in. The sound, the visuals, literally everything works together to create one awesome experience. If there ever were a game that needs to be played in surround sound and in high def, Dead Space 2 would be it.
